About Gordon
First established in 1479, Gordon Castle became the historic seat of one of Scotland’s oldest and most influential families. Once among the country’s largest houses, it was reshaped by war, loss and time; today its medieval tower and surviving wing form the heart of a living family estate.
Under the Gordon-Lennox family, the Castle, river and great Walled Garden are being brought forward as one connected world.
