This Privacy Policy explains how Workaction Tech, Inc. collects, uses and protects personal information through the World Castle Club website at www.worldcastle.club (the “Website”).

Workaction Tech, Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through the Website.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Information you provide

  • information submitted through an enquiry or contact form, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message;

  • information you send to us by email or in later correspondence;

  • your email address, name if provided, subscription status and consent record when you subscribe to the World Castle Club newsletter; and

  • information connected with an introduction or enquiry that you ask us to facilitate.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in an enquiry unless it is genuinely necessary.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, Wix and its service providers may collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language settings, referring page, pages visited, date and time of access, security logs, cookie identifiers and cookie-consent choices.

The Website does not currently process payments, accept bookings or sell memberships. We therefore do not collect payment information through the Website.

3. How and Why We Use Personal Information

We use personal information only where we have a lawful reason to do so, including:

  • to respond to enquiries and continue a conversation — based on our legitimate interest in communicating with people interested in World Castle Club, or where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement;

  • to facilitate an introduction you request — based on your request and our legitimate interest in responding meaningfully to it;

  • to operate, secure and improve the Website — based on our legitimate interests in maintaining a safe, reliable and effective website;

We do not use Website data to make decisions about you solely by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Newsletter

If you choose to subscribe, we may send you news, stories, invitations and updates from World Castle Club. Submitting a general enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.

We use Wix Email Marketing to manage subscriptions and send newsletters. Wix may record delivery and engagement information, such as whether an email was delivered, opened, clicked, bounced or marked as spam, so that we can manage the mailing list and understand how the newsletter is received.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

5. Wix, Cookies and Analytics

The Website is hosted on Wix. We also use Wix services for website operation, forms, contact management, security, analytics and email marketing. Information submitted through Wix Forms may be stored in our Wix contact list and form-submission records.

Wix places cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for security, fraud prevention, network management and core Website functions. Other cookies, including analytics or marketing cookies, are used only in accordance with your choices and where required with your consent.

You can accept, refuse or change your preferences for non-essential cookies through the cookie settings available on the Website. The cookie banner or settings panel provides current information about the categories and duration of cookies in use. Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some Website functions.

6. When We Share Information

We may share personal information only where reasonably necessary:

  • with Wix.com Ltd., its affiliated companies and approved sub-processors, which provide hosting, forms, contact management, analytics, security and Wix Email Marketing services;

  • with a relevant castle, estate, host or other partner where you ask us to make an introduction, or where this is clear from the nature of your enquiry and reasonably necessary to respond to it;

  • with professional advisers or service providers who support our legal, technical or administrative work and are required to protect the information; or

  • with courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Third-party websites linked from the Website have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices.

7. International Processing

Workaction Tech, Inc. is based in the United States, and Wix operates internationally. Personal information may therefore be accessed or processed outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, including in the United States and Israel.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on appropriate mechanisms such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards. Wix states that information it receives from the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is initially transferred to Wix.com Ltd. in Israel under an applicable adequacy decision, and that other international transfers are protected by approved transfer mechanisms where required.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • enquiry and correspondence records are generally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication, unless an ongoing relationship, legal obligation or potential claim requires a longer period;

  • newsletter information is kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal suppression record so that we can respect your request not to receive further marketing emails;

  • technical and security records are kept according to operational and security needs and applicable Wix settings, generally for no longer than 12 months unless a longer period is reasonably necessary. Consent records may be kept for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance; and

  • information required for legal, regulatory or dispute-resolution purposes may be retained for the applicable limitation or record-keeping period.

We may delete or anonymise information earlier when it is no longer needed.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • ask us to erase information;

  • ask us to restrict certain processing;

  • receive information you provided in a portable format;

  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing;

  • withdraw consent at any time; and

  • lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe a breach occurred.

10. Children’s Information

The Website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children, and we do not knowingly use it to do so. Please do not submit personal information about a child unless you have authority to provide it and it is necessary for a specific enquiry.

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures, together with the security measures provided by Wix, to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our Website, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with its latest update date.
